We are proud to announce the availability of our first three designs in the Explorer series of shirts. Karen and I will be refining our designs and offerings over the next few months as we grow Sky Fire Lab into an interplanetary brand.
Also, I am proud to announce that I am now a published author--sort of. I was one of 94 experts asked to respond to the questions including: Buzz Aldrin, Robert Bigelow, Sir Richard Branson, Sir Arthur C. Clarke, US Sec. of Transportation Norman Mineta, and more! I co-authored the answers to questions on spaceflight training with Loretta Hidalgo. I am proud to be part of an education project with such an amazing cross-section of the space industry.
The book is published by Collector's Guide Publishing as "Kids to Space: A Space Traveler's Guide" by Lonnie Schorer.

After lunch we headed to the pool party at Adam's apartment building. It was fun even though we got kicked out of the pool and I got thrown down the stairs. Don't worry, the carpet burns came out by the next day. :-)

Saturday evening we traveled to Islip, NY for Joe & Christine's wedding. We had a great time and got to hang out with Dad and Lynn. Tim enjoyed the trip because he got to meet all of Lynn's Italian relatives--Uncle Vito, Aunt Mille, Cousin Joey, etc. He felt like he was in a mobster movie.

We came back to the dock long enough for a potty break, then headed out again for a sunset cruise with Art's family--his wife Cordelia, his son Alex, and his daugher Anaka. Oh, and one of their cats, Tigger. They wanted him to get his sea legs. I think Jack would really enjoy sailing. He would make a great pirate.
We had dinner with Rob, Karen & Anna that evening. The next day I went with L, K & E to KSC. Tim got Laura & Kaare badges, so we all met at NASA HQ for lunch. Bad idea. We almost got arrested because Elizabeth didn't have a badge! But it turned out they were more upset with the security guards at the gate for letting her pass. Elizabeth is going down in history as the first and only baby to visit NASA HQ at the Cape.
